Quality Policy

Using our FSC, PEFC Chain of Custodies and our ISO 9001 Quality Management System we aim to:

  • Manage and control the quality of all our products and services to ensure that specified requirements are met.
  • Meet all relevant compliance obligations.
  • Maintain a process of continual improvement.

To do this, we will provide:

  • The necessary buildings, work equipment and safe systems of work.
  • Arrangements for ensuring the continued competence of employees.
  • Effective maintenance and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
  • Capital investment in buildings, vehicles and equipment to continually improvement the performance of processes and product and service quality.

To do this, we will manage:

  • Business processes, which focus on customer satisfaction and their impacts on the quality of products and services.
  • Relationships with suppliers where we outsource the manufacture of products to ensure that we work together to meet our compliance obligations.
  • The sourcing of sustainable timber based raw materials through FSC and/or PEFC Chain of Custody.
  • Relationships with all external and internal interested parties to meet their needs and expectations.

The Decormax directors are responsible for the implementation of this policy. This policy will be used as a framework for setting quality objectives. It is the duty of all employees to act responsibly and to do everything they can to meet relevant compliance obligations. Decormax relies on the co-operation of employees, contractors, customers and visitors for the effective implementation of this policy. This policy document is displayed internally and is available to interested parties on request.

The Decormax directors will monitor the effective implementation of this policy and they will be available to give advice on issues relating to the quality of products and services. This policy will be reviewed a minimum of once a year as part of the management review process.
