As Decormax Limited celebrates 25 years as a trusted supplier to the UK trade, the business enters a new chapter rooted in family values, experience and ambition.
Founded in 2000 by Eric Johnson, Decormax Limited has grown into a respected, West Yorkshire–based, family-run business with a strong reputation for quality, reliability and service. Eric’s hands-on leadership and long-term vision laid the foundations for the company’s success, principles that continue to guide its direction today.
In 2025, at a landmark moment for the business, Eric passed the role of Managing Director to his son, Luke Johnson. While leadership has evolved, Eric remains closely involved, providing guidance and insight built on decades of industry experience.
“Everything I know about this business, and about treating customers and people properly, I learned from my dad,” says Luke. “Taking Decormax forward is about respecting what he built while having the confidence to evolve.”
To mark its 25th anniversary, Decormax Limited is investing across infrastructure, branding and logistics. This includes the launch of two new delivery vehicles, both featuring bespoke 25-year anniversary livery, alongside expanded UK delivery routes to support increased capacity and turnover.
Under Luke’s leadership, Decormax Limited continues to strengthen its fully owned delivery fleet and broaden its product offering. The company supplies decorative and raw sheet materials, kitchen worktops and associated products, solid surface solutions, laminates and edging tapes, working with trusted brands including Egger, Bushboard, Wilsonart, Kerrock and Carysil — all available from one reliable, trade-focused source.
Alongside commercial growth, Luke is also championing mental health awareness within the industry. In 2026, he will run the London Marathon in support of ANDYSMANCLUB, following his own experience with the charity and previous fundraising efforts.
